In this dialog you can adjust the bite elevation again, set the spacer and select a splint type.
Select Bleaching Tray Type
The software can automatically calculate splint suggestions based on the selected splint type. The suggestion for the adjusted bleaching splint is calculated taking into account the specified bite elevation value and the contact area to the antagonist. The automatically calculated contact area is based on the set points in the posterior region.
The thermoformed splint is created with a uniform material thickness which corresponds to the minimum material thickness of the selected material.
Set Bite Opening
The automatic suggestion for the splint was calculated on the basis of the bite opening value that you defined in the previous step. You can adjust the bite opening value here and have it calculated on a new suggestion for the splint.
The new suggestion is not calculated and displayed until you activate “Apply settings”. The new calculation of the splint suggestion will take some time:
