Delegate case

If you want to collaborate with other organizations in the DentaMile connect community and delegate cases, there are two ways to do so.


Delegating from case management

In case management, you can open a dialogue box with the three dots (…) to delegate:

You will see the dialogue box below when you click on this button:

All the organizations you are already connected to will appear under the blue arrow (see also Connections). When you click on the respective organization, the full address will appear, and you can confirm the delegation in the upper navigation bar:

The successful delegation will also be displayed in your dashboard.


Delegating from the workflow

Depending on the user role and the purchased license, buttons will be displayed to you at certain stages of the workflow, for example, after uploading the scan files:


Mark comments

In the comment function for delegated cases, there is a button labelled “Mark as urgent” or “Mark as resolved”. The former adds a symbol to the delegation column for a case. This indicates that important information has been stored. The latter removes this symbol again. These buttons are not visible outside of a delegation.

The window with the comments on a delegation then shows the respective status:

  • Urgent
  • Resolved

Deleted delegation

If a delegation is deleted, it remains visible to the recipient. The associated case data can still be viewed but can no longer be edited.

In the case of a delegation between three parties, the middle party can choose which delegation should be deleted.
