The following steps are required to configure a multifile print job in DentaMile connect:
- Selection of a 3D printer
- The size of the work platform will be determined based on the print parameters and shown in DentaMile accordingly.
- Selection of the required material parameter
- The selected material parameter is set as an additional filter, set to ready to print and partially printed.
- A message appears stating that the material configuration still has to be selected.
- The material configuration can now be selected but does not have to be. However, it must be chosen before printing because otherwise, the “Send to 3D printer” button will not be activated.
- Cases and individual designs can now be added to the print queue from the list of printable cases.
- Cases can be dragged and dropped into the queue.
- Cases can be marked using the checkboxes and then added to the print queue using the “Add” button.
- Cases containing multiple designs can be expanded (opened), and individual designs from these cases can be added to the queue as described above.
- The filter functionality can also combine designs with different material parameters. If this is the case, warning messages will be issued for the designs which differ from the parameter selected in Step 2. The filter can also be used to add cases that have already been printed to the list of printable cases.
- Designs can be removed from the print queue again using drag and drop or by selecting and clicking the “Remove” button.
The designs will be positioned on or next to the work platform as soon as they are added to the print queue. The first design is always placed in the center of the work platform. The following section will describe how these designs can be arranged.
